We will begin our Annual Meeting with State of The Colleagues and a brief segment of news and updates from our President and Vice President.
At 1:00PM we will begin our Program with a presentation from The Jo White Scholarship Award (JWSA) 2019 recipient, Georgia Greeley.
Our creative paths are not always straight, often what we learn on the way to our goal is more important than reaching a specific goal. This stepping sideways path is the one I took during my 2019 Jo White Scholarship year. This May 2021, I will be showing you how many ways I attempted to pull calligraphy into my other creative work, bookmaking, printing, writing, painting, and designing. Come see my failures, my almost-made-its, my successes, and where I still hope to move forward. I hope it will inspire you to try new things and take a few unexpected sideways steps in your own work. — Georgia
